Butter Garlic Brussel Sprouts

Fun fact I used to hate brussel sprouts growing up, but I guess your taste buds change cause their pretty tasty to me now. These are a great, very simple, side dish to go with chicken, steak, fish, whatever protein you like.


  • 15 Brussel Sprouts

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp butter (I like using Ghee cause I love the nutty taste)

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • grated parmesan cheese (optional)

  • salt and pepper to tate

Here's how to do it

1.Melt butter in a medium skillet (over medium-high heat) until butter is foamy

2. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add sprouts, cover, and cook on medium-low heat for 5-7 minutes

3. Season with salt and paper

4. Sprinkle sprouts with parmesan cheese if you chose to use it (totally optional, if you don't have it on hand)

5. Transfer sprouts to your air fryer, cook on high heat for 10 minutes. Alternatively you can use your oven for this step too, but I love the easiness of a air fryer, and not having to pre heat it. You know your sprouts are done when they are a little crunchy and brown on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside

6. Serve alongside your fav main dish
